Located at the center of legendary Front Street, The Dirty Monkey is the ultimate venue in historic Lahaina Town. Host your function at our polished event space equipped with a top notch chef’s kitchen, and hi-tech audio/ visual that entertain all ages. 

Whether you are looking for a trendy brunch spot, wedding party, corporate or fundraising event; we customize your celebration needs.  Experience the state-of-the-art sound system set-up with a performing stage and dance floor. Select or plan a custom menu provided in-house and prepared by our master chef, or opt to use your own vendor. The Dirty Monkey hosts events of all sizes including intimate family gatherings and large corporate events.  

We support the enrichment of our community by offering fundraising and youth program support services. Explore all your special event options with 4,200 sq-ft of private or semi-private space and a capacity of 250+ available at The Dirty Monkey.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: Maui County Laws are strict. A few friendly reminders when you visit The Dirty Monkey Maui. Dirty Monkey Large Party Policy

LARGE PARTY RESERVATIONS 

The Dirty Monkey gladly accepts group reservations for special parties and celebrations. We host multiple parties, concerts, sporting events and more. We have plenty of space to host your event and many options to select from. Please provide as much information and our event manager will contact you. Parties are only confirmed with an agreement.

LOYALTY and REFERRAL REWARDS 

We love referrals and love to offer rewards for our customers and vendors. Please let us know who referred you (and / or) if you are planning to book multiple parties. Rewards vary based on availability please discuss options with our event manager. 

TIMING 

Reservations and space are scheduled for your time frame. If the time of your party changes (earlier or later) please notify us immediately. Reservations confirmed with a deposit and/ or agreement have priority. Dirty Monkey is a popular party space and setting time expectations allows the full enjoyment for you and your guests. We find pre-ordering food for large groups is ideal, however we do allow orders upon arrival. Please be aware it may take longer to prepare your groups orders. Additional food orders can be made with our bartenders prior to kitchen closing.

CONFIRMATION 

We respond to requests and inquiries with in 7 days by e-mail and phone. In order to secure your reservation we may require a deposit and signed agreement of confirmation. The deposit will hold the reservation and will only be charged on the day of the event. A minimum may be required. If minimum is not reached the remaining balance will be added to the final bill. Large parties with over 20 guests must select menu items and confirm guest count at minimum of (7 days) prior to event. If you need to change your reservation date you may apply your deposit to a future date. Please discuss with event manager and refer to your agreement for specific event details. * Please note immediate requests or changes must be e-mailed and called to: info@thedirtymonkey.com 808-419-6268 to speak with a manager on duty. 

MINORS

Minors are allowed until 9:30pm. After is 21+ and a valid ID

BEVERAGES 

We offer very flexible drink options. For example, you may have an open bar, provide the 1st round of cocktails, choose a specific level of alcohol, create theme cocktails, or just have beer and wine for your party. Choose from an open bar, cash bar, or design your own custom package. *** Yes! We honor happy hour pricing, a minimum is required and only for approved selected events (exclusions on holidays, special events, major sporting events, and UFC apply). This is a great option to host a welcome or pre-party in addition to your other event. Please discuss party options with the event manager directly and let us know what works for you.

FOOD MENU 

Select from our current listed food menu. We offer customized menu options upon request. Choose family style, buffet, or plated meals for large parties (fees vary). Please discuss with event manager.

FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUMS 

For large party reservations over 20 guests a minimum food and beverage may be required. This is a pre-tax minimum. All food and beverages purchased during the reservation will count towards the minimum. If minimum is not reached the remaining balance will be added to the final bill. 

SERVICE CHARGE / TAX ++

A 20% service charge will be added to all large party reservations. The service charge is based on the final food and beverage total. A 4% tax and 3% credit card processing fee. We allow outside vendors, please discuss with our event manager directly.

MUSIC 

We offer live acoustic music every day, DJ’s on selected nights, karaoke night, and a touch tunes cash jukebox. Many events include music with the event.“Club Nights” Friday and Saturday Nights a cash cover of $10 per person. You have the option to hire a musician or DJ for an additional fee any time available on the event schedule. Please discuss options with our event manager. 

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES

  • All orders placed at bar register unless party has reserved table service for additional fee
  • Bartenders remain behind the bar for orders
  • Food is always delivered to your table(s) 
  • Everyone must have a Valid ID to enter bar per Maui County Law After (9:30pm 21+ only)
  • Shoes and clothes are required by Maui County Law
  • No Drinks allowed on the dance floor or outside venue doors Maui County Law
  • Smoking and vape allowed in designated outside area only
  • Shuffle Board / Game Room is 1st come 1st Served (unless reserved for party with deposit)
  • 20% Automatic Service Charge on all Parties Larger than 8
  • Reservations are subject to a guarantee with deposit
  • Dirty Monkey Team + Maui County promote responsible drinking and a safe atmosphere for all
